Strong & Stable Shoulders ~ Breath, Mobility, Strength & Rest

Your shoulders are where strength meets vulnerability — the place where you reach for the world, carry responsibility, and learn when to hold… and when to let go.

Shoulder discomfort and injury are incredibly common. The shoulders are the most mobile joints in the body, designed for reach, expression, and freedom of movement. But with that freedom comes a need for support.

Long hours of sitting, repetitive movements, stress, poor breathing patterns, past injuries, and even well-intentioned exercise can gradually disrupt the delicate balance between mobility and stability. Over time, the shoulders often compensate for restricted ribs, a stiff spine, or a braced nervous system — quietly working harder than they were meant to.

This workshop is an invitation to change that story.

Join Mel and Tianna for a nourishing afternoon of mindful movement, education, and deep rest designed to help you feel supported, spacious, and strong through the shoulders, neck, and upper body.

Pranayama + Mobility (Mel)
Gentle, breath-led practices to reconnect the shoulders to the ribs, spine, and breath — exploring how a healthy range of motion and nervous system regulation can bring new ease to this often overworked area of the body.

Strength + Conditioning (Tianna, Certified Kinesiologist)
An intelligent strength and conditioning sequence focused on shoulder stability, scapular control, and functional movement patterns — teaching you how to build strength without strain and support your shoulders for long-term resilience.

Restorative Yoga + Sound
Deeply restorative shoulder and heart-opening postures paired with a calming sound bath to soothe the nervous system, soften muscular guarding, and invite a sense of lightness through the upper body and beyond.

This workshop is for you if you want to:

• Understand why shoulder pain and tension are so common
• Rebuild trust and confidence in your shoulders after injury or discomfort
• Improve mobility without sacrificing stability
• Counter the effects of desk work, stress, and repetitive movement
• Learn how breath, posture, and nervous system state influence shoulder health
• Individualize your movement practice for sustainable wellbeing

No previous yoga or strength experience required — just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to explore.

INVESTMENT: $100 + tax

Nourishing tea + treats will be offered.

This workshop includes a kinesiology component led by Certified Kinesiologist Tianna. Participants may be eligible for $50 reimbursement through extended health benefits. Receipts for the kinesiology portion will be issued directly by Tianna.
