Vinyasa Flow

Move with breath. Anchor in presence. Flow into yourself.

Rooted in the fluid poetry of Vinyasa, this class is a living meditation - an elegant dance between breath and body.

We begin by softly arriving with grounding breathwork, then flow through standing shapes, balancing postures, and reclined asanas. A gentle peak pose may be threaded in toward the end, inviting you to explore your edge with curiosity, not pressure.

We close with restorative shapes and meditation, inviting deeply grounded rest.

Come early (doors open at 5:15 PM) to sip a cup of my homemade organic tea and ease into the space.

Aromatherapy will be offered during Savasana to seal your practice with softness.

Slow Flow

Move gently. Breathe deeply. Return to yourself.

This is a space to slow down, soften, and come home to your body. A gentle blend of Vinyasa and Hatha traditions, Slow Flow invites you into a meditative rhythm - where movement becomes a prayer, and breath becomes the thread that weaves it all together.

We begin with breathwork to anchor the mind and awaken presence. From there, we move with intention - through slow, fluid sequences and joint mobility work that tend to the body with care. You’ll have time to feel, to breathe, and to simply be.

Class closes with calming asanas and a soothing meditation to help your nervous system rest and reset.

This practice is perfect for beginners, deep feelers, or anyone craving a quieter kind of strength - one rooted in softness, awareness, and connection.

Arrive early (doors open at 9:45 AM) and settle in with a cup of my homemade organic tea.

Savasana is infused with aromatherapy to help you fully melt into rest.

Candlelight Yin + Sound

Stillness. Surrender. Sound that speaks to the soul.

Join me Friday evenings for a deeply restorative ritual - a fusion of yin yoga and ancient sound healing that invites your body to rest, your mind to soften, and your spirit to remember its rhythm.

We begin by arriving. With homemade herbal tea in hand and soft aromatherapy in the air, we settle into the space - into ourselves. Gentle breathwork opens the doorway to the parasympathetic nervous system, guiding you out of the noise of the day and into the quiet of your inner world.

From there, we move slowly - through a sequence of yin and restorative postures held close to the earth. Shapes are supported, long-held, and deeply nourishing. Most are done seated or lying down, creating a safe cocoon for reflection and release.

As your body opens, the sound begins to flow. You'll be immersed in the resonant tones of my Paiste gong, crystal quartz and Himalayan singing bowls, Zaphir chimes, and voice - each one designed to calm the nervous system, balance the subtle energy body, and stir something ancient within.

Rooted in traditions that span Egypt, India, Greece, and beyond, sound healing has long been used to restore harmony - within organs, emotions, and brainwaves alike. In this space, it becomes your ally in surrender.

Doors open at 5:15 PM. Come early for tea, community, and to ease into the frequency of stillness.

This is more than a class- it’s a ceremony. A soft space to land. A gentle way to begin again.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or have had recent surgery, please let me know before class. People who have sound-induced epilepsy should avoid all forms of sound healing.

Storytime + Sound: Seasonal Tales for the Soul

A monthly ritual of rest, imagination, and elemental wisdom.

Once a month, Sanctuary transforms into a quiet little nest ~ a softly lit space to curl up, sip warm tea, slow your breath, and slip into a story crafted for the season you’re in.

Simply arrive, rest, and let the story wash over you.

Spring Awakening: Yoga, Sound Healing & Acupuncture

I’m so happy to share that Teresa Nieman and I are collaborating once again for a deeply nourishing seasonal workshop rooted in the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine and yoga.

Spring Awakening is an invitation to attune to the rising energy of Spring — the season of growth, movement, and renewal. A time when the body begins to stir, the mind looks forward, and something within us longs to move again.

Through intentional movement, rest, sound, and ritual, we’ll explore self-care practices that support both the physical body and the nervous system during this powerful seasonal transition.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Spring is associated with the Wood element, which governs the liver and gallbladder and their energetic pathways. The climate is wind, the colour is green, and the primary emotion is anger — an energy that, when met with care and awareness, can soften into clarity, vision, and purposeful direction.

This afternoon together is designed to gently clear stagnation, restore flow, and reconnect you with yourself — creating space for ease, insight, and renewed vitality.

What’s included:
Warm tea upon arrival
Grounding pranayama to awaken and circulate energy
Restorative yoga paired with acupuncture to support the liver meridian
• A calming sound bath to soothe the nervous system
• Guided visual meditation
• A homemade Flow aromatherapy spray to take home

DATE: Saturday, March 14
TIME: 3:00 — 5:30 PM
INVESTMENT: $88
(Includes a $44 acupuncture receipt for extended health benefits)

As we step into the vibrant energy of Spring, this workshop offers a holistic, supportive way to care for yourself—with intention, clarity, and gentle momentum.

This workshop is open to participants 19+.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or have had recent surgery, please let Melanie know before class. People who have sound-induced epilepsy should avoid all forms of sound healing.
